A look back at September…
HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH
Hispanic Heritage Month started September 15th and goes through October 15th. We’ve been celebrating by giving out free samples of drip coffee from different Latin American countries like El Salvador, Nicaragua, Colombia, Honduras, and Costa Rica. We’ve also been participating in some fun events:
Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association hosted a Cafecito with members at the café. Judge Jeffrey M. Bryan from the Minnesota Court of Appeals was in attendance.
Mitchell Hamline School of Law hosted Cuban diplomats Alejandro Garcia del Toro & Tatiana Martinez, along with Pianist Nachito Herrera & his family, as they welcomed them with a warm cup of Abogados Café’s Honduras and Perú roasts.
Thanks to the Wilder Foundation for inviting us to speak! Ofelia and Inti shared about what inspired their business idea and talked about some of the important ways they are serving the legal needs of Hispanics in the Twin Cities.
Celebrations
We were honored to attend the Mitchell Hamline Open House and Alumni Reception, plus a retirement party for Professor Emerita Ann Juergens and Professor Anthony Winer, two of Inti and Ofelia’s former professors! Thank you for choosing us at this special event.
Social Media Milestones
We hit ONE THOUSAND followers on Facebook and Instagram. Can you believe it?! Of course, we had to celebrate this incredible milestone.
We went live on Facebook with ‘How do you drink your café con leche?’ Watch the replay here: https://fb.watch/g5O1uGMftE/
