ALL RICE!
Trivia: What is the country of origin of the coffee beans that Abogados Café uses for espresso-based drinks?
A. Honduras
B. México
C. Colombia
D. Guatemala
(Answer at bottom)
ALL RICE! The Honorable Horchata is presiding our Summer Menu. Summer is officially here, and our first round of summer drinks is the perfect way to enjoy your coffee and beat the heat.
Aggavated Charge is Inti's favorite iced drink, while Pen-Law likes it hot. Henry loves the refreshing creamsicle taste of the Orange Jumpsuit, and Ofelia is a horchata lover, so ALL RICE!
Stop by the shop before they’re gone. Our second round of summer drinks will be here soon. ¡Nos vemos pronto!
Special Shout-outs
On July 1st we celebrate Postal Workers Day, so we want to give a special shout-out to Chaz! Rain or shine, he delivers our letters, packages, and smiles every single day.
Gracias, Chaz, for ensuring we stay connected and receive our essential items on time.
Alan Tellez-Berkowitz formerly clerked for Inti at Ceiba Fôrte Law Firm. Alan is now studying for the bar exam after graduating from the University of Minnesota School of Law!
In 2022, we were honored to be a part of Alan and Melanie’s special day. They got married at the coffee shop—and, yes, Inti officiated their wedding.
In Latin America, in order to officiate a wedding, you need more than an online minister certificate. You have to become an official notary public which includes secondary schooling, passing a test with the supreme court, and be a licensed attorney. This type of formal ceremony is important to many Hispanic couples in Minnesota. And since Inti is an attorney (and notary public) in Minnesota, he officiates weddings for Hispanic couples.
Want to host a private event for a special occasion, work meeting, birthday? Our space is gorgeous and works great for small group gatherings.
Looking forward…

Trivia Answer: México
This coffee comes from a group of women farmers within the Triunfo Verde Co-op, one of the founding cooperatives of the El Triunfo Reserve Project in Chiapas.
Notes of praline, toffee, and light lemon flavors coupled with a soft citric acidity makes it perfect for espresso beverages.
