A Sweetheart Deal

Which of our women producers coffee do we frequently make cold brew with?

a) México Roast
b) Honduras Roast
c) Colombia Roast

(Answer at bottom)

Happy Women’s History Month!

We’ve been celebrating all month! 🥳

Ofelia was invited as a panelist at the Latinas of Influence event, organized by Latinos In Comunidad. We've also catered Women’s History Month celebrations across the Twin Cities, including events at Taft Law and CLUES' Cafecito con Amigas—and we’re not done yet!

It is an honor to be part of these celebrations, serving coffee carefully crafted by women in Latin America to women in the Twin Cities. What better way to honor strength, resilience, and community than with a delicious cafecito? ☕️

Looking Forward:

Sweetheart Deal!

Our Subpoena'T has been a total hit this month! It’s insane. But with spring starting, we’re buzzing with excitement for our April Signature Drink: The Sweetheart Deal! 🐝 🌸

Inspired by its Spanish name, Café con Miel (or Café con Miel de Abeja 🍯), this cozy classic features a cinnamon-sage honey blend for the perfect balance of warmth and sweetness without being cloying.

Maybe just calling it Miel or Café Miel makes it easier for English speakers 😉. Either way, once you try it, you’ll agree—this "miel" is a Sweetheart Deal!

You are Invited!

To keep the Women’s History Month celebration going, join us for the Women in Coffee Event 2025! Enjoy coffee, great conversations, and a chance to win prizes! Sponsored by Mill City Roasters, Spyhouse Coffee Roasters, and Cafe Imports.

Answer: b) Honduras

Meet Luha & Issel Medina, the powerhouse sisters behind Abogados Café’s highly coveted Honduras Cold Brew. We are so proud of this single-origin coffee that we even dare use it for caterings!

☕️ Tasting Notes: Sweet fruit with light spice and a melt-away chocolate-like finish.

This incredible quality is thanks to the hard work and attention to detail that Luha and Issel pour into their Los Encinos farm in Puringla, La Paz (1700 MASL).

When Ofelia met these rockstars in Honduras, she was enveloped with joy! Their conversation reinforced her belief that being a woman in coffee is both possible and rewarding.

Next time we cater your event, ask for Luha & Issel’s cold brew or drip coffee—if it’s in season, your guests will be stunned by its quality. 😋☕️
